On the third day of the first lunar month, the recording room of the Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Center's recording studio was full of passionate singing. Ten literary and art workers from Zhejiang Performing Arts Group, Zhejiang Cultural Center, Zhejiang Vocational College of Art, Hangzhou Opera and Dance Theater, Hangzhou Gongshu District Cultural Center, Zhejiang Media Institute, Zhejiang International Studies University and Qianjiang College of Hangzhou Normal University were recording the freshly-released song "To Meet in Spring" to salute the self-giving and dedicated medical workers fighting against the 2019-nCoV Pneumonia outbreak.

“To Meet in Spring” are composed by Diao Yuquan, the deputy director of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and Wang Yongchang, former deputy director of the Standing Committee of Zhejiang Provincial People’s Congress. The song is beautiful and warm and is full of strength. It aims to arouse the confidence and determination of the whole society to fight against the severe epidemic while sending greetings to medical workers.

“The song took less than 24 hours to finish from composing to recording. This is the speed of Zhejiang and the speed of China. As literary and art workers, in response to the decisions of Party Central Committee, State Council, Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government, to unite social forces and to call on the whole society to fight against the epidemic is our shared responsibility,” said Diao Yuquan.

It’s worth noticing that the ten people who came to record the song came voluntarily and fast after learning the news on the morning of the recording. Wu Xiaofang, an associate professor of the Qianjiang College of Hangzhou Normal University is one of them. She said, as singers, we should express ourselves in our special way during the period and work to fight against the epidemic. Duan Yongming, the deputy general manager of Zhejiang Performing Art Group and party secretary of Zhejiang Musical Opera Theater, who is also one of the ten people recording the song, said, “Although this is an unusual Spring Festival and performances have been canceled, the cancellation was done only for us meeting in a more joyful and peaceful atmosphere after the epidemic was over.”
