Visual Feast in the Second Phase of the Grand Canal Temple Fair

After the success of the first phase of the Grand Canal Temple Fair, the second phase comes. It is reported that this phase aggregates more than 170 foreign craftsmen differing in countries, such as Russia, Poland, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Iran and so on, in the Crafts Living Museum. So, it is convenient for foreign tourists to get the first-person experience of traditional craftsmanship, like fan painting, face painting and Taiji.

Besides, there are many other excellent projects. For example, during the Nov. 3rd to Nov. 5th, Qiaoxi Historical Street Block, Dadou Alley Historical Street Block, West Lake Cultural Square will open their fairs, where aesthetic and cultural handicrafts, well-designed accessories, hand-made snacks are collected. In the Qiaoxi Historical Street Block, you also can do some commonweals in the waste exchange, have fun in the family club, and join in the treasure hunting. In the Dadou Alley Historical Street Block is crowded with people who are fascinated by the customs and original handicrafts. During Nov. 3rd to 5th, there will be a 2017 Hangzhou (China) City Tourist Commodity Fair Grand Canal Cultural Square; in the Nov. 18th, there will be a Hangzhou One-hundred-kilometer Love Charity Trailwalk, which starts from and ends in the Grand Canal World, and a “A Cup of Salted Tea” Intangible Heritage Experience Activity in the Tangxi Ancient Town which is located in the north of the Grand Canal.
